On Tuesday, an Arizona judge denied in its entirety Cyber Ninjas’ latest attempt to dismiss our lawsuit seeking the release of records from the state Senate’s partisan election review.

During Thursday’s questioning, Logan said he would not be turning over documents anytime soon, despite several court rulings having found them to be public records subject to release.

The Arizona Court of Appeals ruled on Friday that the Senate must immediately produce more than 1,000 documents related to the Maricopa County election “audit” that don’t fall under a narrowly defined framework of legislative privilege.

The court warned that failure to appear at depositions scheduled for Jan. 27 could result in sanctions and potentially a civil arrest warrant. 

American Oversight on Monday filed an emergency motion asking an Arizona court to compel “audit” contractor Cyber Ninjas and CEO Doug Logan to answer questions under oath regarding the failure to release public records from the inquiry.
