Ruling from the Arizona Superior Court denying the Arizona Senate’s motion to dismiss American Oversight’s lawsuit for records related the Senate’s partisan “audit” of the 2020 election. Judge Michael Kemp also rejected the Senate’s motion to consolidate American Oversight’s lawsuit with a public records lawsuit brought by the Arizona Republic.

Records produced by the Arizona State Senate in response to public records litigation brought by American Oversight. The Senate indicated to American Oversight that these records, which were posted in the online reading room, are the files of "audit" spokesman Ken Bennett.

An initial hearing is scheduled for this Thursday, May 27, in American Oversight’s public records suit against the Arizona Senate.
