Sept. 28, 2020, Expedition Request

American Oversight asked for expedited processing in our request for these documents. However, expedition was denied on Sept. 24, with the Department of Justice citing that Barrett was not at that time a nominee for the Supreme Court.

On Sept. 28, American Oversight asked again that this FOIA request be processed on an expedited basis, in light of President Donald Trump’s Sept. 26 announcement of his intention to nominate Barrett to the Supreme Court of the United States.
