Rick Scarborough is a conservative activist and pastor who has worked to mobilize fundamentalist Christian right-wing voters. Scarborough has made discriminatory statements against the LGBTQ community throughout his career, including one comment in 2009 that, “if necessary,” Christians should burn to death to fight gay marriage.
