Records from State in response to our FOIA seeking department preparations or plans to collect money from Mexico to pay for the construction of a border wall. These records also include briefing memos prepared by the State Department for former Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s meetings with Mexican government officials in 2017. The memos include the issue of President Trump’s border wall proposal under the heading “Watch Out For / If Raised.”
