Department of Defense rejected American Oversight’s request for records communications with the leadership of Operation Warp Speed on the grounds that the request was “misdirected.” American Oversight sought these records to shed light on the administration’s approach to developing, reviewing, and distributing vaccines and treatments for the coronavirus.
