Department of Homeland Security stated that it had no records of communications with the White House regarding a wall contract.

Nonpartisan ethics watchdog American Oversight today sued the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to release emails relating to President Trump's proposed border wall sent between senior officials at the department and individuals in the White House, anti-immigration activist groups, and conservative media outlets including Breitbart and Fox News.  

Lawsuit filed by American Oversight against the Department of Homeland Security seeking the release of records of communications between Department officials and Congress, the White House, border states, and outside groups regarding the construction of President Trump’s proposed border wall. This complaint is part of American Oversight’s Audit the Wall investigation.
