Records released by the Department of Homeland Security in response to American Oversight’s request for records demonstrating how the government is addressing the legal difficulties posed to those affected by the Trump administration’s policy of forcing immigrants to remain in Mexico while their claims are processed, as well as any documents reflecting changes to the program pursuant to judicial orders.

The pressure on the president and his administration has been even further intensified thanks to the release of damaging text messages sent by government officials.
