The Department of Homeland Security's U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services stated it had no records responsive to American Oversight's request for statistics on pregnant asylum-seekers in regards to the "Remain in Mexico" program, also known as MPP.

The irony of protests against police brutality being met with violent escalation by law enforcement is perhaps matched only by the authoritarianism of the president and attorney general.
