The Department of the Interior's Bureau of Land Management stated that it had no records responsive to American Oversight's request for records reflecting communications between Acting Director William Perry Pendley and industry interests.

On Thursday, American Oversight sued the Department of the Interior for the communications of Interior Solicitor Daniel Jorjani and BLM Acting Director William Pendley.
