In response to our request for records pertaining to a June 2018 letter sent by House Oversight Committee Chair Elijah Cummings to Environmental Protection Agency Administrator Scott Pruitt regarding the processing of FOIA requests, EPA produced a letter from its Principal Deputy General Counsel addressed to Representative Cummings.

Following a letter submitted by Rep. Cummings which raised concerns about EPA's handling of FOIA requests, American Oversight is seeking records to shed light on EPA's FOIA processing and all records responsive to Cummings' letter. This FOIA is part of our Parallel Investigation's Initiative.
