The Kentucky State Board of Elections stated that it had no records of communications sent by select board members or staff concerning vote-by-mail considerations related to the Covid-19 outbreak. The State Board of Elections also indicated that any responsive emails would be exempt from inspection under Kentucky law.

Like many things in today’s politics, mail-in voting has become a political flashpoint as the November election gets closer.
