The City of El Cenizo, Texas stated that it had no records of communications with the organization crowdfunding private sections of southern border wall, We Build the Wall. American Oversight sought these communications to shed light as to whether or not El Cenizo is a potential location for private border wall construction.

The pressure on the president and his administration has been even further intensified thanks to the release of damaging text messages sent by government officials.
