On Monday, we filed an amended complaint to include claims under the Wisconsin Public Records Law in addition to an open meetings complaint filed last month. The initial complaint was originally filed on Sept. 25, 2023.
American Oversight’s lawsuit against the secret panel created by Wisconsin Assembly Speaker Robin Vos to advise on the potential impeachment of a state supreme court justice, alleging that any meetings have been in violation of the state’s Open Meetings Law.
On Oct. 10, 2023, Vos filed a brief and declaration that revealed the names of three members of the panel. On Nov. 11, 2023, the court granted Vos’ motion to dismiss the lawsuit.
