Records released by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) in response to American Oversight’s request seeking communications between USCIS official John Zadrozny and White House officials.

American Oversight filed a lawsuit against DHS for failing to release documents that may shed light on the recent work of Ken Cuccinelli, who is expected to be named acting DHS deputy secretary.

Lawsuit filed by American Oversight against U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) for records related to Ken Cuccinelli’s leadership and performance as acting director. American Oversight is asking for records of leadership changes at the agency as well as Cuccinelli’s ethics documents, approved directives, and communications — including communications with White House Senior Adviser Stephen Miller.
