The Supreme Court’s decision on Tuesday to allow the Trump administration to ban most transgender people from military service reignited questions over whether any actual military or national security considerations dictated the discriminatory policy.

Complaint in lawsuit against DOD seeking records of whether or not President Trump was advised by military personnel on the transgender military ban.

American Oversight sued the Department of Defense (DOD) in federal court to determine if President Trump was telling the truth when he claimed on Twitter that "generals" had advised him to ban transgender individuals from serving in the armed forces.
