Records from the Louisiana Secretary of State’s Office in response to American Oversight’s request for communications that could shed light on the decision to leave the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC), including records regarding a Dec. 14, 2021, meeting.

The lawsuits come as several states have exited the bipartisan voter-data system in response to false allegations from anti-democracy conspiracy theorists.

Lawsuit filed by American Oversight against Louisiana Secretary of State Robert Kyle Ardoin seeking to compel the release of communications that could shed light on the decision to leave the Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC), as well as communications with Sen. Ron Johnson and records from December 2021 meeting of the Louisiana Voting Systems Commission.
