During ordinary times, government transparency maintains a functioning democracy. But during the coronavirus outbreak, it can also save lives.

The Texas Office of the Attorney General stated it had no records of communications between select officials and nominated FEC Commissioner Trey Trainor or anyone communicating on behalf of Empower Texans from early September 2019 through mid-March 2020.
