The White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) stated that it had no records responsive to American Oversight’s FOIA request for communications between CEQ employees and Dr. William Happer. In early 2019, the White House announced it intended to create a new committee, headed by Happer, to challenge established climate science.
