The Department of Commerce International Trade Administration stated that it had no records of communications with the Trump campaign, transition team, or White House regarding Ford’s plan (and cancellation) for a production plant in Mexico, consideration of where to manufacture the Ford Focus, decision to shift production from US to China, and impact of any of the aforementioned decisions on US jobs.
