Office of Government Ethics stated that it had no record of meetings or communications between high level ethics officials and President Trump, the Trump campaign, the Trump transition team, or the Trump White House. American Oversight asked for records with these OGE officials: Director Walter M. Shaub, Jr., General Counsel David J. Apol, Chief of Staff Shelley K. Finlayson, and Deputy Director Dale Christopher.
