FOIA to the Department of State seeking calendars of Ukraine Special Representative Kurt Volker, who has reportedly assisted the president’s personal attorney, Rudy Giuliani, in his efforts to meet Ukrainian officials to encourage an investigation of the president’s perceived political opponents.

SEPTEMBER 20 EXPEDITION REQUEST

On Sept. 20, 2019, American Oversight asked that this FOIA request be processed on an expedited basis. The request was made in light of news on Sept. 19 that an intelligence community whistleblower complaint relates to President Donald Trump’s communications with the Ukrainian government.
